Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET
Location: Online Zoom Webinar
Humanity has been gifted with a close partner in evolution, the honeybee, who is a member of the insect Order Hymenoptera, also known as the order of “stinging insects”. Among the honeybee’s closest relatives are the ants, wasps, and hornets, which are all part of the Order Hymenoptera. While the stinging and social attributes of the Hymenoptera are well known, the overarching evolutionary importance of the venom, the formic acid, that they create is often overlooked. We will take a deep dive into formic acid, both from a natural scientific and a spiritual scientific point of view, which will bring us into connection with the plant world, the greater bio-region, and the global biosphere.
Join us for an exciting exploration of formic acid, the insects that produce it, and its vital role in the household of nature.
