Description
As we enter the second century of biodynamic agriculture, it feels vital to remember that these indications arose out of the independent research of the biodynamic practitioner Maria Thun and not the Agriculture Lectures themselves. While Rudolf Steiner may not have specifically indicated these correspondences, he did indicate and emphasize the importance of ongoing, living research – which is the impulse this course seeks to serve.
In this year-long research/study group we will explore ways to more effectively participate with the rhythms of Moon, Sun, and Planets as they relate to our activities on earth, by developing an experiential relationship with the sky above – which may then enrich and inform our work with the calendar and one-another.
We will bring some of the questions we have been carrying as colleagues, and invite participants to do the same. We anticipate having participants from around the globe, enabling us to consider our inquiries both from our particular place on earth, and to expand into the imagination of how it is for another elsewhere- or for the planet as a whole. We will also invite special guests and speakers to share from their research and experience of working with cosmic rhythms.
