Spikenard’s own Honeybee Salve is created from organic and biodynamic ingredients, and contains a blend of organic olive oil along with Spikenard propolis and beeswax. The salve is enriched with biodynamic calendula, nettle, yarrow, and chickweed – all harvested here at the Sanctuary!
The products from the honeybee hives are sustainably harvested at our Sanctuary. After several years of research and trials, we unlocked the secret for using the highly beneficial propolis (that the bees collect from tree buds) in a salve that is especially healing. The Spikenard honeybee products are of the very best quality due to the revitalized biodynamic landscape that the Sanctuary provides for the bees.
Honeybee Salve is lovingly hand-crafted in small batches here at our Sanctuary in Floyd, Virginia. Due to the variable nature of completely natural ingredients, each batch has a unique texture and lightly variable scent. Enjoy the many uses for this regenerating, nurturing, protecting, and healing salve.
