This is five-day workshop is one of four modules of our Spikenard Biodynamic Beekeeping Training (SBBT). It can be taken as part of the full training or as a stand-alone workshop experience.
The Winter Immersion is our inward and outward preparation for the following season. Our hands-on experience is centered around exploring hive types and weaving a sun hive together. We get to dive into the forms and substances of the beehives, the path and medicinal properties of propolis, wax, and honey and how to work with these. Winter also gives an opportunity to deepen our inner and meditative connection with the bees.
Wonderful home-cooked organic lunches and snacks are provided each day.

The Spikenard Biodynamic Beekeeping Training is our signature educational program, which includes all four seasonal modules listed below (attended in any order and timeframe) as well as monthly support, live webinars, and certification.
Graduates of SBBT also enjoy significant alumni discounts on continuing education. Payment plans and scholarships to our trainings are an option for those in need.
Modules can be taken individually or bundled. $1,850 for entire program, includes monthly webinars.
